This superb accommodation has stunning lake views and the River Erne is just meters away. The house has its own mooring 100 metres from at the end of the garden for quick access to the vast Erne waterway. Fishing, bird or nature watching or just looking for a stress free zone Riverrun has it all. The lakes of Cavan contain pike, trout and a selection of course fishing all within easy reach. The RiverRun Estate is located beside the International Fishing Centre and our guests are invited to use the facilities at the Centre. These include boat & fishing tackle hire, a bar, with billiards, and a restaurant serving breakfast and dinner. There is also a complimentary tennis court available. And don’t hesitate to ask them to organise a packed lunch for you, should you require one.

The County of Cavan is situated just a short hop from Northern Ireland and is one of the most beautifyul counties in Ireland. It has some of the best inland fishing in Ireland. Cavan has some wonderful golf coursesfor players of all standards as well as watersports on the many lakes in the county. The Shannon Pot where the source of the Shannon river is to be found is within 15 minutes of the lodge and is well worth a trip. The Erne waterway boasts breathtaking views and one can hire a boat on site and head off for a day's travel on the water to nearby towns & villages.
Belturbet Loughdooley area
Only a mile from Riverrun, historic Belturbet village is a charming market town situated on the east bank of the River Erne midway between Lough Oughter and Upper Lough Erne. The area around Belturbet is renowned for the quality of its coarse fishing. If you seek peace and tranquillity you can spend your time relaxing in the gallery or a glass of wine on the deck. Wake up to the sun rising over the lake and you can spend your time watching wildlife and boating throughout the day.

The property is located 80 miles from both Dublin & Belfast. From Dublin take the N3 to Belturbet. Turn off the N3 at Belturbet, following signs for RiverRun. From Belfast head to Cavan and then take the N3 to Belturbet, from there follow signs to RiverRun
